Russ Ford was elected on November 3, 2020 to serve as Commissioner, Pct. 2 and fill the unexpired term of Sammy Catalena.
Commissioner Ford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University. He has 38 years of experience with management and construction of civil engineering projects. This experience includes 19 years with the Civil Engineering firm Lockwood, Andrews, and Newman (LAN) in design and construction of municipal projects, roadway and pavement design and construction, asset management, right of way acquisition, and materials testing; including running a pavement testing lab.
Commissioner Ford advocates for a better Brazos Valley and to maintain our quality of life. He plans to be accessible to all citizens of Brazos County.
